Welcome to The Edenvale Marathon 2026.

The OFFICIAL Parking is situated at the Dowerglen High School, on the corner of First Avenue and Hendrik Potgieter Street. It is a short 800m walk to the start or to your club gazebo on the finish field.

The parking area is managed and offers toilets for your convenience. You can also buy yourself a pre-race coffee, available from our coffee venders. Please support them.

The parking facility is managed by Essentially Edenvale, a community-based organisation striving for a cleaner, greener and safer Edenvale.

Parking will be open from 03h00 – get there early and avoid any unnecessary race day frustrations!

NOTE: We kindly ask you to please not park on people's pavements. The EMPD will be clamping illegally parked vehicles! You have been warned!

IMPORTANT: ONLY OFFICIAL EVENT VEHICLES WILL BE PERMITTED ENTRY INTO THE FINISH AT EDENVALE HIGH SCHOOL!

Directions to Dowerglen High School

FROM THE NORTHERN SUBURBS AND PRETORIA

OPTION 1
On the N3 South, take the 119A EDENVALE EXIT (M37 Edenvale).
At the roundabout, take the 3^rd exit onto Parkway Street, continue over Modderfontein Road which becomes Van Riebeek Avenue.
Then turn RIGHT into AITKEN ROAD and then LEFT into FIRST AVENUE.
Continue all the way on FIRST AVENUE until the intersection of HENDRIK POTGIETER STREET  – TURN RIGHT and the parking is on your RIGHT.

OPTION 2.
From the Northern suburbs and Pretoria.
On the N3 South, take the 116 EDENVALE OFF RAMP to the M16 LINKSFIELD AVENUE.
Turn LEFT, continue to ELM STREET. (LINKSFIELD WILL BE CLOSED AFTER ELM STREET).
Turn LEFT into ELM STREET and the RIGHT into HENDRIK POTGIETR STREET.
Continue up HENDRIK POTGIETER, the PARKING ENTRANCE IS ON YOUR LEFT

OR AS AN ALTERNATIVE (DEPENDING ON TRAFFIC)

Continue along ELM STREET until you reach FIRST AVENUE.
Turn RIGHT into FIRST AVENUE.
Continue all the way on FIRST AVENUE until the intersection of HENDRIK POTGIETER STREET – TURN RIGHT and the parking is on your RIGHT.

FROM THE SOUTHERN AND THE EASTERN SUBERBS
On the N3 North, take the EDENVALE OFF RAMP to the M16 LINKSFIELD AVENUE.
Turn LEFT, continue to ELM STREET. (LINKSFIELD WILL BE CLOSED AFTER ELM STREET).
Turn LEFT into ELM STREET and the RIGHT into HENDRIK POTGIETR STREET.
Continue up HENDRIK POTGIETER, the PARKING ENTRANCE IS ON YOUR LEFT

OR AS AN ALTERNATIVE (DEPENDING ON TRAFFIC)

Continue along ELM STREET until you reach FIRST AVENUE.
Turn RIGHT into FIRST AVENUE.
Continue all the way on FIRST AVENUE until the intersection of HENDRIK POTGIETER STREET – TURN RIGHT and the parking is on your RIGHT.
